Manhattan Platinum Credit Card India

Manhattan Credit Card is Division of Standard Chartered Credit Card in India for young buds. Don't know why they named it Manhattan when even a smaller name like Milan Card could have done the job, now to the point. They have currently two card under Manhattan Card brand.

1. One is plain no frills no tension Manhattan Card with zero Annual Fees. This card is for a new user who still has to learn usage benefits and turmoil of a Credit Card
   
2. Second is Manhattan Platinum Card with Annual Fees of Rs.999. This one is for people who already are using credit card and know who get best benefit out of each card

We will tell you more about the second platinum card Benefits and its reward points ofcourse .

This is a Visa Platinum Card without any concierge service. But you can't demand more when income criteria of card is Rs.4,80,000 per annum which is Rs.40,000 per month. I don't many will be able to afford the premium charges in above income grade.

You will get 5% cashback on Supermarket and departmental stores shopping. However you can't get cashback for transaction below Rs.500 and that too limted to Rs.150 per transaction. Maximum cash back you can earn is Rs.500 per month.

For every spend other than departmental and supermarket you will get 5 points for every Rs.100 spent. Now this each point is worth 50paisa if redeemed for gift voucher which is not bad because after calculating one gets Rs.2.5 for every Rs.100 spent which is like 2.5% cashback.

All in all not a bad card you can easily make more than Rs.999 renewal fees if you spend more than Rs.5000 per month.
