Matheran, a hill station in Maharashtra near Pune/Mumbai where all the vehicles are not allowed. Best way to reach the place is via Train/Rail called Toy Train which can be taken from Neral 21km from Matheran. Only place left in India where Handpulled Rickshaws and Horses are major mode of public transportation.

Best place for trekking. There is no proper/concrete roads here so best for people who love walking away from the pollutions of cities. Best time to visit is Monsoon when Lakes and small rivers come to it full stream. Climate here is mostly cool as Matheran is situated at altitude of 800mts in Western ghats area.
